Carlos “Cayo” Molina
Carlos Molina was born in 1967 in Cañar, Ecuador He became interested in drawing and painting during childhood, where cartoon magazines, collectible cards and B-movies were his inspirations. He graduated as an architect at the Cuenca State University and worked in that field until 2006. Then he moved to Portland, Oregon in the United States, changed careers and started working as a secondary school teacher. He has been teaching and refocusing on painting since 2020.
